Africa's Hope facilitates one doctoral and six masters-level ministry training programs that prepare servant leaders to equip the church of Africa to fulfill God's mission in the power of the Holy Spirit. The graduates of these programs become Bible school trainers and the trainers of the trainers.
Because of the great training need across Africa, we must train current and future trainers. Bible school teachers are a critical link in training the harvest. These will be those who train the more than 25,000 in Africa who are now leading congregations who have not had pastoral training. Africa's Hope facilitates these schools by providing teachers, library books, scholarships and subsidies. Dr. Carl Gibbs serves as the Africa's Hope liaison to these schools. Additionally, Joy York has been seconded from Africa's Hope to be the program coordinator for the Pan-Africa Theological Seminary (PAThS), our only doctoral level training program on the continent.
Some of our schools are accredited through government recognition, as is the case of West Africa Advanced School of Theology and PAThS. Some of the masters’ level programs are accredited through their agreement with Global University. PAThS offers a Ph.D. in strategic ministries with concentrations in leadership, Biblical hermeneutics / theological studies, missions, or education. The masters programs offer concentrations in Bible, leadership, and missions.
