Other, smaller efforts of Africa's Hope like Pastor's Library, MegaVoice and Scholarships.

Pastor’s Library

Bible study resources are invaluable to every pastor. However, in Africa, having such treasures is only a dream for thousands of pastors. Some consider themselves lucky just to have a Bible in a language they can understand!

Africa’s Hope comes to the rescue by providing the Pastor’s Library, a 4-book set including a

  • Bible Commentary
  • Bible Dictionary
  • Topical Bible
  • Bible Concordance

Every Pastor’s Library costs $45 to purchase and send to the continent so a pastor can grow deeper in his or her understanding of God’s Word and how to preach its truths.

MegaVoice

Illiteracy in Africa is an epidemic. In many places more than 80 percent of the population can’t read. This is especially true in rural settings where people grow up speaking their mother tongue but never learning to read and write in that language.

So how do we reach people and teach them God’s Word if they can’t read?

Africa’s Hope recognizes that we can reach and teach them by making sure they hear the Word of God, so we help to provide MegaVoice units for pastors and lay leaders who can’t read.

MegaVoice units are small, solar-powered audio devices which usually contain the entire New Testament on them, as well as a few other additional discipleship audio resources.

They are available in many languages and easy to distribute! Every MegaVoice unit costs $55 to purchase and distribute in Africa.

Scholarships

God is calling thousands of believers to study His Word in Bible school so they can rightly divide and preach the gospel.

And these thousands are answering the call!

However, many of them do not have the funds needed to buy textbooks, afford room and board expenses, or even pay their tuition — so they come to Bible school on faith that God will provide.

Through Africa’s Hope you can make available scholarship subsidies for deserving African Bible school students so they can prepare for ministry. These scholarship subsidies often mean the difference between training and never training.

On average, it costs $50 to help provide a one-month scholarship for an African Bible school student. We believe these scholarships are one of the best investments you can make in Africa because Trained Leaders are Africa’s Hope!
