Stew and Sondra VanArsdale

Missionaries Stew and Sondra VanArsdale are impacting eternity. Stew’s passion for utilizing technology to advance missions led them to move to the Africa’s Hope team so they can further the ministry of refurbishing computer equipment for distribution to ministries in need. This move has allowed him to travel to nine different countries in Africa to install computer labs in Bible schools. He has also trained students while refurbishing and shipping over 300 more systems free to Bibles schools and ministries in fifteen other countries in Africa and around the world in the last four years.

Prior to Africa's Hope, the VanArsdales helmed the Information Technology team at ICI/Global University for more than 16 years.

Stew has a variety of ministry experience. He was a Youth/Associate Pastor in Newton Assembly of God in Kansas from 1982-1989. Stew and Sondra served as sponsors for AIM teams in Mexico and Venezuela.  They were Missionary Associates from 1989 to 1992 with ICI in Belgium then moved to Texas when ICI relocated.

Prior to becoming a missionary, Stew had 20 years in computer and information systems.  For six years he owned his own consulting company.

Stew holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas and a Masters degree from Capitol College in Laurel, Maryland.
