Côte d’Ivoire is home to more than 32 million people and over 60 languages and people groups. While the Church has experienced remarkable growth in the southern part of the country, much of northern Côte d’Ivoire remains largely unreached.
The north is predominantly Muslim, and many cities and villages have little or no Evangelical presence. But the national church has a vision to change that.
A Vision for Church Planting
The Assemblies of God has ministered in Côte d’Ivoire since the late 1950s. Today, the national church is one of the country’s largest Evangelical movements and has planted more than 5,000 churches in the past decade.
Now, they are turning their attention to the north.
The Assemblies of God of Côte d’Ivoire has already established four Bible schools and has seen firsthand that where leaders are trained, churches are planted and communities are reached. Now they are preparing to launch a fifth school dedicated to equipping pastors, evangelists, and church planters to reach northern Côte d’Ivoire.
The land has already been acquired. Teachers are being identified. Students are being recruited. The vision is in motion.
The goal is to open the school in fall 2027.
Help Us Make This Vision a Reality
Africa’s Hope is partnering with the Assemblies of God of Côte d’Ivoire to provide the facilities needed to launch this vital church planting school.
The project includes steel structures, completion of the initial buildings, and two deep-water wells.
Total Project Need: $267,000
This is more than a construction project. It is an investment in the people who will take the gospel to places where churches do not yet exist.
Your partnership can help equip a new generation of Spirit-empowered leaders to plant churches, make disciples, and bring the hope of Jesus to unreached communities across northern Côte d’Ivoire.
